As a nonprofit organization, the Académie des Métiers de la Diplomatie operates under a governance structure based on independence, accountability, and transparency. Its various governing bodies work together, each within its own area of expertise, to define policy, manage the institution, and foster its development.
As the Academy’s highest governing body, the General Assembly brings together the association’s members. It sets general policy, reviews activity and financial reports, and makes key decisions regarding the institution’s operations and future development.
This body is responsible for the operational and administrative management of the Academy. Composed primarily of the Presidency, the General Directorate, and the Treasury, its mission is to prepare the work of the governing bodies, monitor the implementation of decisions made, and ensure the smooth functioning of the institution. The Chair of the Executive Committee also serves as President of the Academy.
